Update Fortis

Fortis looks for updates by itself. Here is how to install one, and how to check yourself.

    Open Settings and click Check for updates

    Fortis also checks by itself every time it starts.

    Read the result

    The same line now shows Up to date or Update ready. If it shows Could not check for updates, check your internet connection and try again.

  3. 3

    Click Install update

    When an update is ready, Fortis shows Update ready. Click Install update, then click Yes when Windows asks for permission. Fortis closes, turns the VPN off, installs the update and opens again. Not a good moment? Click Later.

If the message says Update required, your version is too old to connect. Install the update to keep using Fortis.
