Using Fortis

Connect and disconnect

Turn the VPN on and off with the Select button.

    Press Connect

    When you open Fortis, Connect is selected. Press the Select button (the centre of the ring). Fortis connects to the location shown under Current location.

    Check that you are protected

    The screen shows CONNECTED and You are secured. CONNECTED IP is the address websites now see. It belongs to Fortis, not to you. To turn the VPN off, press the Select button (the centre of the ring) on Disconnect.

    Press Turn off

    Fortis asks Turn off protection? Press the Select button (the centre of the ring) on Turn off. Press Right and choose Stay connected if you changed your mind.

    You are disconnected

    The screen shows NOT CONNECTED and You are exposed again.

The first time you connect, Fire TV may ask you to allow a VPN connection. Press OK.
