The protocol is the way Fortis connects. Leave it on Automatic unless Fortis will not connect.

Open Protocol
Go to the Account tab. Under Connection, tap Protocol.

Pick a protocol
Tap one. On hotel, school or office Wi-Fi, OpenVPN (TCP 443) works best. The change is used the next time you connect.
