Fix a problem

Send your logs to support

Save a small file that shows us what went wrong, and send it to our support team.

A log is a small file that records what Fortis did when it tried to connect. It helps us find the problem faster.

  1. 1

Click Send feedback, then Export logs

Send feedback is in the menu on the left. Export logs is at the bottom of the screen.

  2. 2

    Click Done

Fortis shows Saved to your Desktop. You now have a file on your Desktop with a name that starts with FortisVPN-logs.

  3. 3

    Send us the file

Email it to [email protected], or click Start a live chat on this page and tell us you saved your logs. Tell us what you were doing, the country you tried to connect to, and roughly what time it happened.

Step 1 of 3

Click the picture to see it larger.

The file holds the version of Fortis, your version of Windows, whether the network adapter is installed, and the last lines of the connection log. It does not contain your browsing history or your passwords.
