Choose a plan
Go to the pricing page and tap Get Started on a plan. New customers get a 7-day free trial.

Complete checkout
Type your email, your name, your address and your card, then finish checkout. This email becomes your Fortis login.

Open the email from Fortis
We send you an email called Verify Your Email. Open it and tap Verify Email Address. No email? Check your spam folder.

Choose a username and password
A page on our website opens. Type a Username (3 to 30 letters or numbers) and a Password (at least 12 characters, with a capital letter, a small letter, a number and a symbol). Type the password again under Confirm Password, then tap Complete Setup.

Install the app
On your phone, open Fortis VPN on Google Play and tap Install. Or open the Play Store app and search for Fortis VPN.

Sign in
Open Fortis, type your email or username and your password, and tap Sign in.

Read the permission notice
The app explains the one permission it needs: network traffic only. Tap Continue.

Allow the VPN connection
Android shows its own Connection request. Tap OK. A key icon appears in the status bar whenever the VPN is on.

Tap the power button
The home screen shows Unprotected until you connect. Tap the red power button.

You're protected
The screen turns green and shows Protected. Websites now see the VPN address shown under Your IP.
